While the racing career of Cliff Sealock was not a long one at the Beatrice Speedway, it was a successful one. Sealock's racing career began while in the service in 1949 in Virginia. He would eventually move to Hastings, NE and begin winning races across the state of Nebraska. Known for often driving the "Mighty Mouse" car, Sealock began to win at Beatrice Speedway as well. He would go on to win many races at the Beatrice Speedway against some of the stiffest competition in the Midwest. Sealoxk was capable of running with the best of them- Joe Saldana, Lloyd Beckman, Gordie Shuck, Frank Brennfoerder and Andy Anderson to name a few. Sealock won his first Beatrice Speedway Track Championship in 1960. in 1963, Sealock teamed up with Gary Swanson to win another Beatrice Speedway Track Championship. Sealock moved his family to Concord, California just a year and a half later, where he raced until 1979. In 2002 Sealock was inducted into the Nebraska State Hall of Fame.
