Kenny Parde began his racing career as a substitute for another injured driver, but got the racing bug soon after. In 1968, Parde won the Beatrice Speedway Track Championship as well as the Beatrice/Fairbury Combined Grand Championship, ending fellow inductee Mike Cacak's 3 year reign. Parde's versatility in racing is perhaps what separates him most from so many. He raced everything from HooDoo Coupes to sprints, Modified stocks to NMRA Supermodifieds and ran up front in all of them. Parde would finish 4th in the NMRA Points in 1971, just behind fellow inductee Denny Oltman and would continue to race throughout the 1970's and into the 1980's. Parde would even go on to be the Beatrice Speedway track Promoter in 1985 and 1986.
