The final member of the Hall of Fame Class of 2007 was the most nominated, by the 2007 Racer’s Reunion Alumni group.
His service to the Beatrice Speedway throughout the 1970’s and into the 1980’s was as influential as any. Working as an official alongside of fellow Hall of Fame members Paul Saenz, and Frank “Zuke” Scdoris, he was able to help stabilize and improve a once shaky speedway. He was one of the most well liked, and respected officials to assist the Beatrice Speedway, and is still one of the most popular people at the Racer’s Reunion events.
He still follows racing today, and has attended every Hall of Fame Racer’s Reunion event held. This show of support, shows how fond and proud he is of his service to the Beatrice Speedway.
We are equally as proud to introduce the man know as “Salami” as tonight’s final member to the class of 2007.
