
The first inductee for the Class of 2009 started his Beatrice Speedway Career in the mid 1970's in the Sprotsman Division. In 1978, he would notch the most wins in the division and on to take the 1978 Sportsman/Late Model Championship. In 1981, he would again lead the speedway with a division his 4 wins, including 3 in a row and 4 of the final six races.
All of this, While competing again current Hall Of Fame member, Mike Cacak,
Tim Swanson, Kenny Parde, Stu Vavra, Rex Nun and Lavern Allen.
He would go on to compete acress Nebraska in Sprint Cars throughout the rest of
his career both as a driver and car owner. But he would return for on last time
to the Beatrice Speedway in 1990. He would go on to take the feature win in his
final appearance at the track.
Although mainly known for his success in the Sprint Cars, it was the sportsman/late model division at the Beatrice Speedway where is success began. And that success in the division ranks him as one of Beatrice Speedway's best.
